The event is being co-ordinated by Aleit Event Projects who believes that product launches, corporate functions and events are occasions that should be chic affairs, with understated elegance. They offer a line of communication between corporate clients and industry-specific service providers as they take responsibility for single-source accountability – from creating and establishing the concept, right through to the execution and rounding off of the event.

The venue is Dish. With a client list comprising Cape Town's leading lights, and many of South Africa's largest corporations, Dish Food & Social has catered for functions as diverse as weddings, funerals, working breakfasts and cocktails, as well as very large events, such as the Nederburg Auction.

It is a business that has grown out of a passion for food and a genuine love of people and parties. Andrea Foulkes and her team draw on a wide variety of culinary inspirations in putting together menus that are tailored around each client's preferences.

Their premises, located in what was the ballroom of the Avalon Hotel in Gardens, also comprise a stylish and versatile function venue.
